Why do good deeds? Because we are God’s children, called to be imitators of Christ, and that’s what Jesus did! We do good deeds because we want to be like Him!
Jesus redefines “neighbor” by showing mercy to the wounded. He tells us, “Go and do likewise”—to everyone in need.
Jesus is about to be launched into His three-year ministry before going to the cross. And God calls down from Heaven and calls Him, “Beloved”!
Following Jesus isn’t always easy. The good news is, He is always there to help us along. Our job is to focus on Him!
You might ask how can I change the world? I would answer that by saying that one small spark can start a huge forest fire. Be that spark.
