Jesus chose the cross over escape—for you and me. His love kept Him there, to free us from sin and death. What amazing grace!

Even though Jesus’ primary ministry was to the Jews, He had the rest of the world in mind! After His resurrection, He sent out His disciples to ALL the world!
Sometimes the Lord doesn’t restore to us the things we have lost for His sake. Rather, He gives us something better: Salvation!
Jesus has rescued us. Every one of us who trusts in Him to give us life and peace with God. He died and rose for us that we might be with Him!
Sometimes what Jesus says seem inconsistent, but it is not! Nothing matters to Jesus but doing what God sent Him to do!
Catching people. That’s what Jesus calls us all to do! To learn from Him to share our faith, to bring more and more people into Jesus’ net!
Because most of us aren’t Jewish, we don’t have legal right to God’s covenant! We are saved only because of His great mercy!
What does shame have to do with glory? Quite a lot! Jesus gave Himself for our sin; but he rose again, never to die again, to live in glory!
