Jesus, referred to as the “Son of David”… David was known as the “man after God’s own heart”. Help us to trust like David did!
Christmas may be a joyous season for some, but for many it is a time of tears and sorrow. Even the first Christmas testifies to this!
God chose a man to be the earthly father of Jesus, and in his human way, Joseph reflects God the Father, wise, slow to anger, quick to show mercy and kindness.
Jesus could have come at any time in any form to save us. Why did He choose the form of a helpless baby?
We pray for miracles, we ask God for blessings, we beg for answers to our problems. But do we do so with … anticipation? Anticipation that He will actually … ANSWER those prayers?
What does the Bible mean when it says, “The government will be on His shoulders”? This doesn’t mean anything to me! Or… Does it?
