Are you discouraged and feeling far from God and that your faith does nothing for you? Look to Him, your high tower of strength, Who promises a city whose foundations are made by God Himself, and Whom we can judge as faithful.
Having peace in Jesus doesn’t mean your trials will go away, for He told us to expect suffering. It means we belong to the One who died and rose again and we have His peace.
Jesus’ time on Earth was brief, but when He returned to Heaven it was to intercede on our behalf.
Why worry? God has it handled. We need to take a step back! Why not thank Him for the answer instead of badgering Him?
Why did Jesus tell Judas to do what he came to do … quickly? Could it be that Jesus was anticipating the amount of suffering He would endure? Yet He did it … For you!
If Jesus Himself, the Son of God, was only able to surmount temptation by offering up fervent cries and tears to God, then how much more do we, who are weak, need to follow His example!
Ever wonder why that person that does nothing but aggravate you is so deeply rooted in your heart that you can’t separate yourself from them? Because God put a love for them in your heart!
Jesus had a plan for His gospel message to reach everyone on Earth. He was part of that plan, but so are you and I!
God reigns supreme, period. But He still loves us enough to not only send us help, but also to go out and search for us when we’ve strayed! What a Ruler!
God has offered us all the protection that we need in this spiritual battle. In times of discouragement, we can be encouraged by God’s promises. When we have a difficult choice to make, we can find guidance from God’s Word.
Having a problem? Take it to Jesus. He will take it before God on your behalf, and He isn’t afraid to go head to head with the enemy!
