“Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”
(Romans 10:9-10 ESV)
“For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
(Romans 10:13 ESV)
Google defines nostalgia as, “A sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations.”
Today is my mom’s birthday. She would have been 95 years old. I really miss her. My mom went home May 30, 2013. She was finally where she wanted to be, in heaven with dad. Special occasions are when I miss her the most. But even if it was possible, I would never ask her to come back. My mom is enjoying herself in heaven. She has seen Jesus face to face. But you know, it’s ok. I might get a little weepy or quiet today because I am missing her, but I know I will see her again real soon.
Can you say without a doubt, that you know you are going to heaven when you die? I hope so. If not, let me help you out. Repent of your sins, say this prayer and really mean it. Jesus is coming soon and you need to be ready.
“Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
Sinner’s prayer
I have heard people say it can’t be that easy. You can’t just say that prayer and be saved. Ok. Want me to make it easier? “Jesus, come into my heart and live. I need you. I repent of my sins.”
Easy enough? Jesus really is coming back soon. We all need to be ready. If you are saved, and know someone who isn’t, please tell them about Jesus. Time is short.
Have a blessed day.
