No, not my words. I saw them on Facebook yesterday. But words to live by. Every time I turn on the news all I hear is someone murdered, shot or maimed another. That’s why I don’t watch the news except for the weather.
I know violence is not new. But it has become a common place occurrence now days. No one is safe even in their own neighborhood. We need to take the lesson of the crayons. We all need to live in peace and harmony, no matter their color or beliefs. I don’t care if you are black, white, red, yellow, purple or green. It’s what’s inside that matters. I want to challenge everyone today to be on best behavior, no matter what crosses your path. Give grumpy Gus a big smile and a cheerful hello. It may be just what he needs.
I was waiting for a friend to get done shopping yesterday morning. A young lady with an overflowing cart and a little one in the basket, stopped to ask if I needed help loading my groceries. I thought that was very nice of her. I didn’t but as she walked off, her little one peaked around her and told me bye. That made my day. It’s the little things that you do for others that may not seem big to you but means the world to them.
So lets spread a little cheer everywhere we go today and everyday.
