God has offered us all the protection that we need in this spiritual battle. In times of discouragement, we can be encouraged by God’s promises. When we have a difficult choice to make, we can find guidance from God’s Word.
Why would Jesus curse a fig tree because it didn’t have any fruit, when it wasn’t even the season for figs? Could it be that Jesus knew that 2000 years later His precious church would be full of fully-leafed fig trees that don’t bear fruit?
It’s always exciting to see the bulbs and perennials come up in the Spring; but it’s sad when they don’t. What about the “spring” seasons of life? Will our “spring flowers” return after a long, cold “winter” experience? How can we ensure they do?
