“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
(Jeremiah 29:11 ESV)
According to Oxford Languages, an agenda is “a list of items to be discussed at a formal meeting.”
What does having an agenda mean? It’s a list of things to be considered or done. I make a lot of lists. I don’t always get everything done, but I have a list or an agenda of things to do.
Do you have an agenda to fulfill before you start serving God? Well, it’s time to put that agenda aside and turn to God. God has a much better agenda than we do anyway. I love this verse:
“The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”
(Exodus 14:14 ESV)
How often are we silent? I mean, really silent to the point you can clearly hear God’s voice? I would say not that often. Time is getting short, my friends. We need to turn to God before it’s too late:
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'”
(John 14:6 ESV)
So my friends, it’s time to make a decision. I just pray you make the right one.
