Steal Away

by | Oct 18, 2014 | God Cares, Poems, Prayer, Relationship

In the quiet solitude

I watch the sunset fall.

I steal away to talk to God,

So I can hear His beckoned call.

Then, with a gentle voice so low He whispers,

“Peace, be still.”

For I know my prayers will soon be answered,

If I just wait upon His will.

We all know that what we ask for In His son’s name,

it will be done.

If we have faith and just believe

Upon God’s one and only son.

There’s no prayer too big, or small

That God will turn away,

Because we know He loves us all,

And hears us when we pray.
