For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.

(Isaiah 55:8 ESV)

God doesn’t ask you to understand, comprehend, or figure it out. He just wants us to pray, seek, and trust.

Let’s break this down.

What does it mean to pray? Oxford Languages defines pray as, “address a solemn request or expression of thanks to a deity or other object of worship.”

How do you pray? Do you seriously talk to God? Or just put something out there, hoping you hit the mark?

God wants to talk with us. He wants to have a conversation with His children. He wants to spend quality time with us.

So try sitting down and have a chat with God.  Try talking to Him like you would talk to a friend. Seek.

How do you seek God? Oxford Languages defines seek as, “attempt to find something.” When you seek God, do you expect to find Him? I do. And I do find Him. He meets me where I am. The last is trust. Oxford Languages defines trust as, “firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.”

Do you trust God? We need to have complete trust in God. He is our source for everything. But do we actually trust that God will bring the things we need? If we don’t trust God, who do we trust? The devil will give you the things you want but it comes with a very high price. Eternity in hell. That price is way too high for me. I place my complete trust in God. How about you? Something to think about. But don’t think too long about it. Time is getting short.

Have a great day, everyone.
