Don’t Wait Until It’s Too Late

Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.

(Proverbs 27:1 ESV)

So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.

(James 4:17 ESV)

Have you ever put off going to see someone and then when you have time they are no longer here? You will never get that time back with them.

Why do we put things off? There is probably no better time. You are always busy, tired, or whatever excuse you use. There is so much to learn from grand parents and parents, aunts and uncles. The past is a wonderful place. I wish I had asked my grandparents and parents about growing up when they did. Maybe I can when I get to heaven.

According to AI Overview, “While the Bible doesn’t explicitly use the word “procrastinate” in reference to Jesus, there are instances where he delayed responding to requests, which could be interpreted as a form of divine delay or purposeful action rather than procrastination. For example, Jesus delayed going to Lazarus, his friend, knowing he was sick, and Lazarus died before Jesus arrived. However, Jesus’s actions were always motivated by a divine purpose, such as glorifying God or teaching a lesson.”

I guess a little procrastination is ok. But I suggest you check on the elderly. Talk to them. Make sure they are OK. Ask about their past. You may just find it very interesting.

Have a great day.
