“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”
(James 5:16 ESV)
“Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.”
(Ephesians 6:18 ESV)
“Pray without ceasing.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:17 ESV)
How many times have you prayed half-heartedly? You pray a general prayer. “God bless us. Watch over us. Amen.” Is that really all you have to say to our Heavenly Father? Is that how you talk to earthly father? Or do you go into a little more detail?
We need to go into more detail with our Heavenly Father. We need to stop phoning it in.
According to AI Overview “Phoning it in” is an idiom that means to do something with little effort or enthusiasm. It can also mean to produce mediocre work or to do something just because it has to be done.” Is this what we want God to hear from us? Do you really want to put very effort into it? Or do you want to be a prayer warrior?
According to AI Overview “A prayer warrior is a Christian who prays for others in a way that is taught in the Bible, and who is often led by the Holy Spirit. They may pray for individuals, regions, or states, and they may see themselves as engaged in a spiritual battle against satanic forces.” So which are you? Are you phoning it in or do stand in gap for others and wage war against the evil forces?
I suggest we dust off our prayer habits and start praying like the warriors we were created to be. Put our passive nature aside and put on the armor and fight. The battle is heating up. We need to be ready.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
