"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." (1 John 4:8 NIV) I just couldn’t find it. I looked everywhere. I read through my Bible again and again. I looked in all the inspirational books I own. I checked out the other sacred texts as well. I...
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" (2 Cor 5:17 NIV) I have noticed something recently. I am not as angry as I used to be. I am not as grouchy either. I don’t complain nearly as much as I used to. I am...
“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may...

"You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence." (Acts 2:28 NIV) I have had a day full of angel smiles today and it isn’t even noon yet. The one I got from the beautiful girl in the wheelchair made my whole morning...
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade-kept in heaven for you." (1...
"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (Matt 6:21 NIV) I got to meet a wonderful person the other day. I had stopped to buy a local newspaper from a machine when I saw a middle-aged lady already there. She had a handful of quarters and was...
