Come What May

by | Jun 16, 2022 | Provision, Strength

“In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.”

(Psalm 4:8 ESV)

“But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.”

(2 Thessalonians 3:3 ESV

There is safety in the arms of Jesus. He will comfort and protect you. He will give you rest.

There is a song called, “Come What May” sung by We Are Messengers:

“In every high, in every low,
On mountaintops, down broken roads.
You’re still my rock, my hope remains.
I’ll rest in the arms of Jesus,
Come what may.”

Come What May by We Are Messengers

No matter what you are going through today, Jesus has his arms open for you. Lean on Him and let him carry you through it. It doesn’t matter if you are the most religious person or the most back slidden or somewhere in between, Jesus has you in His arms. He is there holding you so you can can get strong again. He is rooting us on.

I have started therapy on my arms and legs to try to strengthen them up again. I had 2 therapists here yesterday. They worked me over. By the time I was just about done with the second one, I felt I was at my limit. But I could hear Jesus whispering in my ear, “Just a few more. Let me help you finish them.” I was able to finish what she wanted me to do. Afterward I was sore. But it was so nice to know Jesus was helping me through the exercises. After she left, I went to my recliner. Jesus whispered in my ear again, “Good job. Now rest. I’ve got you.”

No matter what you are going thought, kids acting out, job is insane or a million other reasons, rest in the arms of Jesus, come what may. And don’t worry about it.
Have a blessed day everyone.

Have a blessed day.
