From the rocks of sin, Jesus found us sinking in waves of despair
When we bowed our head to the Savior, He was faithful to meet us there.
Sin had left a crimson stain and scars upon our sin sick soul,
But Jesus came to wash them away His love is the greatest, one could ever behold.
He took our scars of sin and cast them all away
He made us reflectors of His glory to shine as stars, along life’s narrow way.
There was no good within us until Jesus filled our life with His grace,
Now His love embraces our heart, as we follow Him, in all our ways.
The scars in His hands and feet engraved by our sins on that day,
Remind us of His great love and salvation, as we seek His face and pray.
No longer do we bear sin’s scars His grace was greater where sin did abound,
We must point the way to the Savior, His desire is for all lost sinners to be found.
Jesus is the Lighthouse who shines in the darkest night,
When you look up to the Savior, He’ll give you truth and light.
Through this life, we are sheltered in the loving arms of our Lord,
We have no reason to fear or falter, He’ll be with us, until we enter our eternal reward.
