“Whither shall I go from thy spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence?” (Psalm 139:7 KJV).
Dearly beloved and friends,as this year is on the way out and a new one fast approaching;it is very expedient that we take some firm steps about our relationship with the Lord.
You cannot hide from God any longer,stop staying aloof or sitting on the fence.
- “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, Beholding the evil and the good.” (Proverbs 15:3 KJV)
- “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him………” (2 Chronicles 16:9a KJV)
Examples of those who tried to hide from God:
- Adam and Eve: When they got their lives, contaminated by the Devil (Genesis 3:8-10).
- Jonah: God sent him to Nineveh;he diverted and went to Tarshish but God forced him back to Nineveh (Jonah 3:1-5).
- Prodigal Son: Ran away from home ,but could not sustain his riotous living and had to return home to his father (Luke 15:17-20).
- YOU: For how long will you dwell between two opinions,stop running and stop hiding,Jesus cares for you (Revelation 3:15-16).
What to do:
- Be transparently honest before God.
- Have nothing to do with unfruitful works of darkness.
- Let Jehovah be your shield and hiding place.
- Give God,the utmost priority in your life.
Prayer Points:In Jesus name:
- Father, thank You for visiting me, please let me never depart from Thy presence.
- Father, the grace to depend upon You completely, let it come on me.
- Father, for the rest of my life, please let Your will be done in me.
YOU CANNOT HIDE FROM GOD.
