In the End Time

by | Oct 18, 2014 | Second Coming, Trials

“Time is ours,” said one Maniacal Cackle Frog to the other. “We have conquered time and we know all its secrets!”

The Frog and his mate had found a clock on the outdoor wall and had taken refuge behind it. They observed that the sun came up and went down again according to time. They further observed that people came out of the house and went about their chores according to time and they even ate their meals according to the time on the clock.

It was obvious that in having the clock on their side, the frogs were in charge of time.

In their maniacal cackle frenzies, they jeered at the lesser pond frogs and the garden frogs because those frogs did not see time as they did.

“We know when time begins and we know exactly how long it lasts!” They preached to lesser frogs. “We have control of time and we can tell you exactly when everything happens.”

For their whole lives, the Maniacal Cackle Frogs clocked time and dated everything they observed, passing it on to the frog-eggs they planted in the potted geranium beneath the clock.

Then the young Maniacal Cackle Frogs quoted time as though they owned it because their parents had lived in time. They jeered at the lowly pond frogs and the garden frogs who turned the discourse to questions of morals, self-control, and the coming judgment.

“Enough for now!” sneered the Maniacal Cackle Frogs. “When we have a more convenient time we will send for you again.”

And the pond frogs and the garden frogs turned sadly away because it was late in the day and ‘in the end time there will be those who mock at religion and follow their own ungodly lusts.’

All time ended in the middle of the night when the battery in the clock went flat and “Time should be no longer,” (Revelation 10:6.Acts 24:24 Jude 18)
