But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
(Romans 8:25 ESV)
With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
(Ephesians 4:2 ESV)
Christmas is really close. Patience can be running low.
I went to Walmart yesterday to get a few things. I can honestly say I did not see anyone angry or impatient. I was impressed. People were smiling and greeting each other. I commented on a baby in a lady’s cart and we chatted for about 10 minutes in the produce aisle. No, I have no idea who she is but it was a nice conversation.
I was thinking about how happy Jesus must be. I know Walmart is not the whole world but today, it was a pleasant place. This time of year can be stressful. Parents are trying to get gifts bought while stretching an already tight budget. But somehow it all comes together. By trusting Jesus things work out. Jesus will help you find a way.
Trusting Jesus is a good thing. He can move mountains for you. He can clear the path and make it smooth for you. And all it takes is trusting Him. I hope this holiday season you remember to hold your temper, spread joy and keep Jesus front and center.
Have a wonderful day, everyone.
