You’ve been blessed with an amazing gift. Life and the amazing presence of beautiful people in it.
1. Be grateful for what you have: “Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe.” (Hebrews 12:28 ESV)
2. Appreciate what you receive: “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’” (Hebrews 13:5 ESV)
3. Need what you want: “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19 ESV)
4. Give without expectations: “Each one must give as he has dec:ided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7 ESV)
5. Never take it for granted: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33 ESV)
I have heard from a lot of people over the years that they aren’t satisfied with their lives. If only they had more money, better looks, newest and best car, etc. They still wouldn’t be satisfied. My opinion is that you will not be satisfied until you give your life to Jesus. Jesus is the supplier of all our needs. Jesus is the only person who can completely satisfy us. He walks beside us every second of every day. He takes care of us, He forgives us when we sin. He loves us unconditionally.
Now doesn’t that sound like the best deal around? I don’t know of anyone else who loves unconditionally. It’s time to turn to Jesus and let Him take your worries and cares.
Have a blessed day.
