As I was thinking about the devotionals, if you want to call them that, I asked God, “Why me? Why am I doing this? Surely there are others who could get your point across better than me.”
God’s reply, “Why not you?”
So I dropped it. But God didn’t. He said He called me to feed His sheep. I am feeding His sheep with my daily verses. I have doing these for 707 days now. There have been a few repeats and a day I missed because of surgery.
God has used me to feed His sheep but He also used this to stretch me. I have grown since starting these. God has used me to reach people I would not be able to otherwise. They are published daily on a prayer group website I belong to. It reaches around the world.
God has a subtle way of nudging me into what He wants me to do. He knows I am a shy person, stop laughing, until I get to know you. He knows that I am basically a quiet person. Again, stop laughing. But He uses it. He puts me into situations that require me to just listen. God has given me the necessary equipment to deal with what life throws at me.
You have them too. Obedience is the key. Listen and obey God’s commands. Once you figure out being obedient to God, you will find your path in life. So no matter what the devil tries to throw at you, listen for God’s instructions and obey them.
