There’s a song we sing fairly often at church. It’s called, “There Is Something About That Name” by Bill & Gloria Gaither:

Need I say more? Ok. I will.
There’s something special about the name of Jesus. Jesus gave His all for us.
“Master, Savior, Jesus, like the fragrance after the rain.” Have you ever smelled rain? Have you smelled a storm coming in? Or after a storm? That is how Jesus smells. He smells like that freshness of rain. I have smelled Him. He has been here with me many times. He smells like rain.
“Kings and kingdoms will all pass away.” Jesus will never pass away, but earthly kings and kingdoms will. People, time is too short to bicker over petty things. It’s time to make peace and let things go. Let hard feelings go, let bitterness go, let go of frustrations. Let go of anxieties. Just let it go. It’s time to set aside our differences and make every second count. It’s time to set your eyes on Jesus. It’s time to trust Jesus to take care of your problems and issues. Give it all to Jesus and lean on Him for your answers.
