Have you ever had one of those days where nothing seems to go right? That at every turn something is fighting against you?
I have had those days before. I just feel like crawling under a rock and hiding until it passes. But then I remember that I have someone on my side helping me fight. I have Jesus fighting for me and with me. And Jesus never loses. He wins every battle. Therefore, we can’t lose.
If Jesus is for us, who can be against us?
The devil is against us, but Jesus is stronger than the devil. The devil is out to get us. He has been battling me for quite a while now. He doesn’t like me writing these for one thing. He tries to stop me every day. But I just keep going no matter how much I want to quit. God keeps telling me to keep going. My excuse is nobody reads them anymore, so why keep writing them? Then I start hearing from people, telling me that’s what they needed to hear. So I go on. The devil keeps throwing things in my path to try to stop me. I just pray harder.
If you are fighting a battle, laugh at the devil. He hates laughter. It’s a very effective weapon. Laughter makes you feel better, too.
