And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
(Hebrews 11:6 ESV)
Do you believe in Jesus? Do you believe He was born of a virgin? Do you believe He lived, died and rose again? All are valid questions. Before I go any farther, yes, I believe all of them. I know it because it says so in the Bible. I was scrolling channels awhile back and the Bible was being debated. One side totally believed everything written. The other side said it’s a book of tales, told as a story and not true.
I have my favorite part of the Bible and the part that scares me. I love the story in Genesis about Joseph and his family. Growing up with just brothers, I think I got away with more with them then the brothers did among themselves. The book that can scare a person is Revelation. That book tells you what to expect at the end of time here on earth. That will be a very hard time for those left behind. I do not want to be here for it.
One more question. Do you know where you are going when you die? There are two options, heaven and hell. Heaven is a place of no pain, and eternal peace while hell is fire and brimstone. A place of eternal torment. I’ll take heaven. I have had enough of pain and sickness in my life. I’m ready for eternal peace and health.
If you don’t know where you are going when you die, then you need to get yourself right with God and walk in His footsteps. Time really is getting short.
Have a great day, everyone.
