Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.
(Psalm 139:7-10 ESV)
Where is God? Are you hurting, are you angry about something? Just reach out. God is right there beside you. He wants all your hurts, anger, disappointments, regrets and anything else holding you back from where God wants you to be.
Isn’t it amazing that God can be everywhere all the time? God is with you, He is with me, He is everywhere with everyone. God is with the homeless, protecting them, providing for them. But how does He provide for them? Have you ever given a homeless person a buck or two? God provided that money to you so you could give it to that homeless person.
But there is so much hatred in the world. Killings and abuse, where is God then? He is right there, hurting because He can’t do anything to help because they haven’t allowed Him too. You see, we have free will. God gave us free will. We are free to do whatever we want and unless we ask for God’s help, he won’t intervene.
I want to encourage you today. Reach out, ask God for help. He is just waiting for you to ask. It isn’t hard. Just say God I need Your help and He will come running to you.
