Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
(Proverbs 3:5 ESV)
Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
(Psalm 37:4-6 ESV)
I was halfway through watching a movie with my granddaughter yesterday morning. A line caught my attention.
“Sometimes you’re the bug. Sometimes you’re the windshield.”
Have you ever felt like the world was crashing in on you? Feel like the bug on the windshield? I’ve been there a few times. But I’ve also felt like the bug. Just buzzing along without a care in the world. That is until the vehicle comes along and you get splattered on the windshield.
There is help out there for you. Jesus is waiting to keep you from running into that windshield. He will help you out even if you have already hit the windshield. Jesus loves you no matter what. He is always willing to go to bat for you. He will scrape you off that windshield and put you back together again.
So the next time you feel like you have been hit by a windshield, turn to Jesus. Let Him take care of you.
Have a blessed day.
