My pastor stood before us yesterday and said she was a recruiter. We should all become recruiters. What does it mean to be a recruiter? According to Oxford Languages, a recruiter is “a person whose job is to enlist or enroll people as employees, in the armed forces, or as members of an organization.”
You can also be a recruiter for God. You can tell people about God and His love for them. You can show God’s love just by the way you live. If you live your life the way God wants you to, people will see it. You will be a good example.
But on the flip side, if you profess to be a Christian and live your life according to the world, that isn’t a very good example.
God wants us to live the way He wants us to. The way that will lead to eternity in heaven. I want to challenge you today. Examine your life. Are you living the way God wants you to? Or are you living according to the world? Think about it. Then make a decision. Live for God or the world?
