For a couple of days now, the song from Queen, “We Are the Champions” has been running through my head. I never listened to Queen but have heard the part, “We Are the Champions.” I had to look up the words:
“We are the champions, my friends.
We Are the Champions by Queen
And we’ll keep on fighting till the end.
We are the champions.
We are the champions.
No time for losers.
‘Cause we are the champions of the world.”
I like this part. We are champions, and we will keep fighting until the end. Until we draw our last breath, we fight. God made us to be champions for Him. We need to keep fighting for His sake.
Google defines champion as “a person who fights or argues for a cause or on behalf of someone else.” There are other examples, but this one fits here. We fight for God. We fight on His behalf. We take our case and argue for God to others. We bring in the lost by telling them about God. We spread the news to the lost. We champion for the cause of salvation.
Are you a champion? Are you fighting for Gods cause? It’s time we fight my friends. We need to fight for God’s cause. We need to let others know about our wonderful Father. Take the fight to the streets. Tell everyone you see. Shout it to the world. Because we are the champions!
