“You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem. ’Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow, go out against them, and the Lord will be with you.'”
(2 Chronicles 20:17 ESV)
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
(1 Corinthians 15:57 ESV)
Are you fighting a battle? Any kind of battle. Spoiler alert, the battle is not yours to fight, and it’s already won. The devil just keeps trying to convince you otherwise. Don’t let him. Jesus died on the cross for us. He gave His life so we can life abundantly.
The devil knows his time is getting short and is out to get up. He tried every trick in his book this week on me. But I came out on top. God wants us walking in victory. We can’t do that if we let the devil win even one battle. We have to keep fighting.
Quote scripture to him. Give praise to God. Laugh. The devil hates laughter. Scripture says to stand firm, hold your position. Good strategy. Stand firm in your faith, and don’t let the devil gain an inch from you.
I want to encourage you to stay strong. This holiday season spread warmth and friendship to others. Your smile may be a bright spot in their day.
Have a great day, everyone.
