There’s a couple of songs with this in the title. One is All I Want for Christmas are My Two Front Teeth. But that’s not the one I am talking about. I am talking about the one, All I want for Christmas is you.
I could give you a list of things I would like for Christmas, but all I really need is Jesus. Material things come and go. They wear out and you throw them away. Jesus never wears out. You never have to throw Him away. He is new every day. No material thing can say that. Jesus is there for us even when we don’t think He is. He may feel very close or far away. I prefer Him close. Life is so much better when you can feel Jesus close.
Jesus goes to bat for us. He takes our problems to God on our behalf. Jesus is a good lawyer. He fights for us, He pleads our case before God.
So what do you want for Christmas? What do you need? Only Jesus.
