“Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
(Luke 15:10 ESV)
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
(Jeremiah 29:13 ESV)
Google defines lost as “unable to find one’s way; not knowing one’s whereabouts.” It also defines found as “having been discovered by chance or unexpectedly.”
I’m not totally directionally challenged, but there have been times I have been lost. I really wished I had GPS. I do now and love it.
There have been times when I have felt lost in my walk with God. But then I turned on my built-in GPS-God’s Positioning System. We all have it. It’s installed in us when we get saved. God has His GPS built just for us and installed in us.
In order to start using this GPS, take out your Bible or pull it up on your phone. Then start to read. After you have read a while, or even before you read, pray. Talk to your Heavenly Father. He’s waiting to take a call from you. He is never too busy to talk to you. If you pray in tongues, even better.
Those are instructions on how to activate God’s GPS. But how do you keep it charged? See the above instructions. Every time you read your Bible or pray, you recharge yourself. Praise and worship will also help build you up.
The past week for me was rough. I didn’t feel like doing anything. But the one thing I did not slack off on was reading my Bible. I did not feel like talking, but I did pray a little, maybe not like I should have, but I think God understands. He knows what was going on.
Even if you are not going on a trip and need GPS to guide you, you still need God’s GPS to navigate daily life. So activate your GPS and keep it fully charged because the devil is out there looking for ways to hurt you.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
