“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15 ESV).
On my way to church last night. I heard two different songs on fill me up. I think God was trying to tell me something. I think I need a good dose of the holy spirit to fill me up.
I have become a little dull around the edges. I remember watching my grandma Keller sharpen a knife on the side of crockery bowl before peeling vegetables. She kept her knives sharp. I used to be sharp but I have let the world creep in some. I need to get back to spending more time with God. I need to pray more in the spirit. I read the Bible every morning and before I go to bed. But not like I used to. I need to revive myself and get back to my alone time with God. That is always time well spent. My boldness has also slipped. It’s time I got that back too.
How about you? Are you filled to overflowing? It’s time we all were. God fill us up to overflowing.
