Even though I deserve nothing…He has given me everything I need. I saw that on Facebook yesterday. It’s true too. I deserve nothing but God gives me everything I need and a few things I want. I started counting my blessings yesterday. I have an apartment I love. I would love it a little more if it was a little bigger. I miss my crafting area. I have a car that runs. It gets me from point a to point b and back again. It’s not the prettiest car. It’s faded from having to sit out in the weather, and it has rust spots on it. But it runs and that’s all that matters. I have clothes. I am going to need different clothes soon. My clothes are starting to fall off of me since losing 100 pounds. Thrift stores here I come, eventually. I have food. My pantry, deep freeze and fridge are full. Yeah, most came from food pantries but it’s still food. But the main reason I love God is because He loves me. He loved me before I was born. He loved me then and He loves me now.
God loves me regardless. Regardless of my behavior. He may not like my behavior but He still loves me. That’s how a good parent should be. A good Father should love you even when you do stupid things.
