Dont Give Up Before Your Breakthrough

by | Sep 2, 2022 | Miracles

“While you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

(Acts 4:30 ESV)

“And God was doing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul.”

(Acts 19:11 ESV)

How many times have you waited for something, only to finally give up? Do you give up easily or do hang on to the bitter end?

I have learned to hang on. You never know when a breakthrough is around the corner.

Hanging on is easy if you trust God to bring what you are waiting on. Trusting God is easy if you love Him.

I was reading stories about miracles last night. God is so good. He restored a little boy who had been swept away by a fast flowing stream. When found, the boy’s body temp was 77 degrees. That is not compatible with life. But there’s a saying in the medical world, “You aren’t dead until you are warm and dead.” But the true miracle was this child suffered no brain damage. He had all his faculties when he woke up.

God is still in the miracle business. Just because the majority of the world doesn’t think so, doesn’t mean He has stopped. God will never stop performing miracles. I get a miracle every morning when I open my eyes. God wakes me up for another day, another chance to get it right.

There are some miracles that stand out for me in the Bible. Think about walking for 40 years in the desert. The Isrealites’ clothes and shoes didn’t wear our. Moses brought water out of a rock for them too. The Isrealites grumbled about wanting water so Moses brought it out of a rock. Jesus raised Lazareth from the dead. He had been dead a few days so you know the tomb couldn’t have smelled very good. But Jesus raised him and he was fine. Those are just a couple miracles. What about when Jesus turned water into wine. Guests said it was better than the best the groom had to offer.

Have you experienced a miracle lately?

Have a great day everyone.
