“Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: ‘I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go.'”

I discovered today that I am turning into my dad. That is not a good thing by the way. I make sure the water faucets are completely turned off and not dripping. I tell my neighbor, who likes to come part way in, to close the door, I’m not heating or cooling the whole outside. I leave a room and turn the light off, except the living room. I will leave that one on. I tell others to turn the light off, my power bill is high enough now.
Those are just a few of the things I have noticed. And don’t really like them. My goal is to not follow in my earthly father’s steps but to follow in my Heavenly Father’s steps. The footsteps of my Heavenly Father will never lead me astray. They will always guide me down the right path. They will lead me to heaven.
Heaven is the place I am going to eventually. I look forward to that day. Heaven holds great rewards for us. I have read accounts of people who have been to heaven and came back. They say it is beautiful beyond words. But on the other side, hell is not the place I would want to go. Eternal fires and torture. Not for me. God is longing for us to follow Him. He wants all of His children to be in heaven with Him.
It’s time to make a choice. Heaven or hell? Eternal beauty and peace or eternal fires and torture? It’s your choice. I pray you make the right one.
