In these times, I don’t know of anyone who isn’t going through a storm of some kind. It may financial. Prices are sky high and most people struggle through from paycheck to paycheck, if they are lucky enough to have a job. ut emotions also run high in times like these. Tempers flare and things are said that can’t be taken back. Kids are having a lot of peer pressure to try drugs or alcohol. The storms come and go but if you just keep praising God, they won’t seem so bad.
Praise changes the atmosphere and moods change and you usher in the presence of God. It also doesn’t matter if you sing like an angel or like a frog croaking in the pond. God wants to hear you praise him.
There’s a song called, “Praise You” In The Storm by Casting Crowns:
“And I’ll praise You in this storm.
Praise You by Casting Crowns
And I will lift my hands.
For You are who You are.
No matter where I am.
And every tear I’ve cried,
You hold in Your hand.
You never left my side.
And though my heart is torn.
I will praise You in this storm.”
So no matter what, lift your hands and start praising. Watch that storm leave.Have a blessed day and stay cool.
