“The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come ‘ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come ‘ And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.” (Revelation 22:17 NASB)
I finished reading Revelation again yesterday. The above verse caused me to pause and and really think about it. That is an invitation from our Lord. We have an invitation to come up higher. An invitation to get closer to Him.
What a thought.
One day soon I will be standing in front of my Lord. As the song says:
“Surrounded by Your glory.
I Can Only Imagine by Bart Miller
What will my heart feel?
Will I dance for You Jesus
Or in awe of You be still?
Will I stand in Your presence or to my knees, will I fall?
Will I sing hallelujah?
Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine.”
I love that song. What will I do? I don’t know. But I do know there is only one way to find out. Get saved. Give your life to Jesus. Repent of your sins and ask Him into your heart. It’s quick and easy. Say this prayer, believe it and receive forgiveness:
“Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness.
Sinner’s Prayer
I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son.
I believe that He died for my sins and that you raised Him to life.
I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward.
Guide my life and help me to do your will.
I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
Did you pray this prayer? I truly hope so. “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 NIV) So if God loves us so much that he sent his only son to die on the cross for our sins, shouldn’t we do what we can to spread the word that He is coming back soon? So get yourself prepared.
