A Little Help

by | Dec 15, 2021 | Christmas, Faith, Fear, Giving, Worry

“When the righteous cry out for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.” (Psalm 34:17 ESV)

“He said, ‘The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer.'”
(2 Samuel 22:2 ESV)

Christmas is right around the corner. This is the time for joy and happiness but more often than not, fear and depression creep in. Fear that there won’t be enough money to get gifts, food or whatever.

I won’t lie, things are really expensive right now. I have heard people talking about the supply chain and things won’t be delivered to the stores before Christmas. That things aren’t being delivered quickly.

Could be, but I was Walmart the other day and there are tons of toys and games. If you can’t find something, you aren’t looking hard enough. So little Johnnie doesn’t get the latest and greatest tech toy. Or little Susie has to make due with a cheaper Barbie doll. They are all the same. The only difference is the price tag. So you can’t find the toys your little darlings want, you get depressed and upset. I just gave 3 of my great grandkids gifts that cost around $10 each. They all had a ball playing with them. It’s not worth getting stressed out or depressed over. Kids basically want to be loved, so they will be happy with whatever.

It’s time to take a stand against fear, depression, anxiety and anything going on in your life. Make your stand today and tell them to go. They have no right in your life and Jesus died on the cross so we can be free from sin. You don’t want to let him down do you? Kick it all out and ask Jesus to fill those now empty spaces. He will come in and fill the vacant places in you. Give it a try. What have you got to lose other than fear, anxiety, depression, ect.

Have a great day everyone.
