Never Alone

by | May 28, 2021 | Loneliness, Presence

“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” (Psalm 91:11 ESV)

“Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14. ESV)

I was raised in a the First Pentecostal Church. It was an old time Pentecostal church. You know the kind, ladies have long hair, usually in a bun on top of their head, held there with bobby pins and a ton of hair spray. Dresses only and well below the knees. No makeup and the only jewelry is a wedding ring and watch. We were always at church on Sunday mornings and nights until we moved 30 miles away. Then just on Sunday mornings.

Once I graduated and started working, I stopped going. But I never stopped praying. I have always been sensitive to the presence of angels. I remember from a young age I always felt safe because of the angels. I had never seen angels until in the past few years. And even then mostly just fleeting glances. But I can usually tell when angels are present. I have several with me right now. That’s why I gave this the title I did.

But we really are never alone, no matter how far we think we have strayed from God. We still have the angels that have been sent to minister to us. God sends them to us to help us. Sometimes they bring messages and sometimes bring things we need.

I have even gotten help with these devotionals from them. You see, I am not a writer. But God is. He sends me help everyday.

But even in the years I was not serving God, He still sent the angels. I could still feel their presence. But most of all, I could still feel God’s presence.

So no matter what you are going through, you are not alone. God will never leave you. He loves you that much.
