“But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.” (2 Thessalonians 3:3 ESV)
“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me.” (Psalm 138:7 ESV)
Do you ever feel like you are walking through this life alone? Do you feel like you are walking through flames alone? Or just barely treading water? This is from Another in the Fire:
“There was another in the fire Standing next to me
There was another in the waters
Holding back the seas
And should I ever need reminding
Of how I’ve been set free
There is a cross that bears the burden
Where another died for me
There is another in the fire.”
There have been times when I have felt alone. I have felt like God just walked away from me. But He hadn’t. He was right there beside me, waiting for me to stop being negative and realize He was there. He is with me no matter what I may be going through. He is right beside me. It doesn’t matter if I feel like a crispy critter or that I may be going down for the last time. God is there. He always was and always will be. And He is for you too.
God is like that. He will never leave us. He will guide us and protect us. So whatever you may be going through, remember God is always with you. He will stay beside you and never leave you. So give your problems to God and let Him walk with through the fire with you.
