God’s Grace

by | Mar 19, 2021 | Grace

“He has saved us and called us to a holy life, not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.” (2 Timothy 1:9 NIV)

“But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.” (Ephesians 4:7 NIV)

I spent a very pleasant hour listening to a church in Houston, Texas last night. They hosted an hour of nothing but gospel music. One of the last song’s they sang was, “Grace, Grace, God’s Grace”. Below is the 2nd verse and chorus:

“Marvelous, infinite, matchless grace
Freely bestowed on all who believe
You who are longing to see His face
Will you this moment His grace receive?
Grace, grace, God’s grace
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within
Grace, grace, God’s grace Grace that is greater than all our sin.”

Marvelous, infinite, matchless grace. That describes Jesus perfectly. And he does freely give this grace to all who believe. His grace covers us, it protects us. Why wouldn’t you want it?

Are you longing to see his face? Will you receive his grace? Will you accept this gift? It’s yours for the taking. God’s grace pardons and cleanses us from sin. His grace is greater than any and all sin. So reach out today and accept him into your heart. His grace is waiting.
