I’ve pondered in a pink sunset.
I’ve walked in a Spring-green wood.
I’ve shivered in diamond-snow mornings
As I pulled up my furry hood.
I’ve laid on a sandy, brown beach
With seagulls over my bed;
And I stood today in orange sunlight
With red-orange trees overhead!
Of all the beauties I’ve felt
Or viewed in this world so wide,
The greatest beauty has been
The hand of a friend by my side!
