Faith can be exercised in our lives, not only for healing, salvation and receiving answers to specific prayer request but living without fear under perplexing, paralyzing law or decree. Moses was born at such a dangerous, oppressive period for Israel in Egypt. It was faith that made Moses’ parents defy “the king’s commandment” (Heb 11:23) “By faith, Moses when he was born was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command.” Faith overcame the fear of the king and they trusted in God’s divine protection. It was neither by chance nor accident that Pharaoh’s daughter went down to the river that day, but God the Ruler in the kingdom of men ordered every detail for His own glory.
In the end, some of Pharaoh’s money was spent to pay the Hebrew mother to nurse her own child, Hallelujah!!! God will command our enemy’s wealth to be used to support us in Jesus’ name, Amen! Pharaoh proposed to “deal wisely” with the Israelites, planning to weaken, oppress and destroy them, yet in the end, God compelled him to give accommodation, lodging, food and education to the very man who accomplished the very thing that Pharaoh was against. Thus was Pharaoh’s wisdom turned to foolishness and Satan’s devices defeated. Whether in the animal kingdom, human kingdom or angel kingdom, God has resources and messengers enough to carry out His will and plans. God is the Lord of His creation, whether it is a fish as in Jonah’s case (Jonah 1:17 / 2:10), or the case of Balaam’s ass (Num 22:22-28) or non-believers as in Caiaphas’ case (John 11:47-51) and Gamaliel’s case (Acts 5:33-40).
Here are some of the examples of how the unlimited resources of our Lord was used in the bible: –
* He used the dream and interpretation thereof of the Midianites to strengthen the hand and heart of Gideon to secure a decisive victory over the enemy. (Judges 7:9-15)
* He used Rahab the harlot, to give protection and information to the spies who had come on a mission to spy out the city of Jericho (Joshua 2:8-9, 24).
* He used an ass to talk to and to bring conviction upon Balaam.
* He used Cyrus, king of Persia, a heathen king, to commence the rebuilding of the Jerusalem temple (Ezra 1:1-4).
* He used Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon as an instrument of oppression to punish the erring nation of Israel and to bring them back to the path of rectitude and true worship (Jer 25:9-12)
God holds all the world in His hands. He has manifold resources that He can use to accomplish His will.
* He used Pharaoh’s family to raise up Moses, the deliverer of Israel.
If He made a promise to you and wants to do something good for you, there is no need for you to worry and wonder how He will do it.
There is no need for you to try to figure out how He will accomplish His promise. God has a lot of resources He can use to fulfill His will. He has all the resources on earth and heaven to fulfill His promises.
Cheer up saints, our Father is the Owner of heaven, earth and earth below.
