“And the Lord God said, ‘It is not good for man to be alone; I will make a companion for him, a helper suited to his needs.'” (Genesis 2:18, TLB)
“A father can give his sons homes and riches, but only the Lord can give them understanding wives.” (Proverbs 19:14, TLB)
“Be delighted with the Lord. Then He will give you all your heart’s desires.” (Psalm 37:4, TLB)
“Remember, your Father knows exactly what you need before you ask Him!” (Matthew 6:8, TLB)
Mankind is likened unto women searching for fine linen, they travel through the market and find cotton, they purchase the cotton for it is soft, and comforting, for it lacks durability they continue to search for the fine linen. They find denim, it is ruff and rugged, and durable, for it is not as soft and comfortable as the cotton, they continue to search for the fine linen. What shall these women do when they find the fine linen but have not the money to purchase it for they has already given what they have to purchase the wool and the denim?
Thus I say to you today that we all should wait on the lord and store up what we have in order to receive what is rightfully ours, rather than spending on our own account.
I will explain this parable to you.
The fine linen is the best mate possible for this woman, that the lord God has in store for her, she has been given gifts to give to this man, thus the reason to keep her chastity. But on her quest to find the best, she finds one that is good, soft, humble and decent, but not chosen by the Lord. In time he will wear away, for the comfort he gives is not of the Lord and it can only last for a season. The second, the denim, is likened unto a man that is a provider and protector, strong and affectionate, but he has not the comfort and humility of the first man. For this cause he also is lacking, both good, but not the best.
The fine linen is the best man chosen by God. But we, with our deceitful hearts, (Jeremiah 17:9) spend ourselves on those not worthy, depriving the fine linen their due pay.
But I say to you today that if you have made this mistake, trust in the Lord, repent, and He will forgive. Submit your passions and desires to His pleasing, then you shall inherit blessings and mercies all your days, and shall dwell in the house of the Lord.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)
