For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

(Ephesians 2:8-10 ESV)

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

(Romans 5:8 ESV)

AI Overview defines expectations as the following: “Expectation refers to a strong belief or hope that something will happen or that someone should behave in a particular way. It can also refer to the anticipated probability of an event occurring or the state of being in a state of waiting for something to happen.”

Key Aspects of Expectation:

1. A belief about the future: It’s a strong belief that something is likely to occur or that a certain outcome is deserved or proper.

2. Hope or fear: Expectations can be positive (hoped-for outcomes) or negative (feared outcomes).

3. A future prospect: It can refer to the prospect of something good happening in the future, such as career advancement or prosperity.

4. Anticipation: The act of looking forward to something with anticipation or hope.”

What are you expecting? Are you expecting big things from God? If you aren’t expecting, why not? God once told me to dream big. So I told Him what I wanted. He asked me why I was dreaming small. I thought it was a big dream. But to God it was little. So I started dreaming bigger. Some have come, others not.

When I look back and remember what I was expecting, and it hasn’t come, I start thinking about it. Has my faith been big enough? Has my faith level dropped? My answer was no and yes. No my faith was not big enough and yes my faith had dropped. So what am I going to do about it? I’m going to start working on my faith level. I am going to start dreaming BIG again.

Have a great day, everyone.
