Silent Night

by | Dec 27, 2021 | Christmas, Salvation

“In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.” (1 John 4:9 KJV)

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8 KJV)

“Silent night, Holy night. All is calm, All is well.”

Yes, it is. All is calm and all is well.

Can you say that? Is everything calm in your life? With Christmas tomorrow I think I can safely say it’s a busy time. And that’s ok. Busy is good. Just don’t let stress and anxiety enter in to spoil everything. Remember what the holiday is really about. It’s the anniversary of the birth of Jesus.

What would we do without Jesus? How would we cope with the daily stress?

I saw on Facebook awhile back that “Jesus is the reason for…well…everything!” He isn’t just the reason we celebrate every December 25th. He is the reason we are alive and that our sins are forgiven.

I can imagine what my life would be like if I didn’t have Jesus in my heart. I would be lost and wandering. I would be searching but never satisfied. Jesus calmed me down. He restored order in my life where there used to be chaos. I prefer the peace that comes with living my life for Jesus. He truly is my saving grace.

So if you have chaos and strife in your life. Repent, then consider this. Say these words. “Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sins and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

You have just said the sinner’s prayer. I hope you meant it. Now live your life for Jesus. Have a great day everyone.
