What is a blessing? According to AI Overview, “A blessing is an invocation of divine favor, an expression of approval, or a fortunate event that brings happiness and well-being.”
Has someone blessed you? Have you blessed anyone? It kind of works both ways. I have been blessed and I bless others whenever possible. The funny thing about blessing someone I have found that the more you bless someone, the more you get blessed. I love to be able to bless someone. Sometimes finances say I can give someone money, other times feed people. There have been times when a neighbor needed a ride somewhere. My car is not the greatest but it runs. So I give them a ride.
God sends blessings too. There have been times that I needed or maybe just wanted something and couldn’t afford it on my own at that time. After I put it in God’s hands, it came in usually in a very strange way. In a way I never imagined it happening. God is so good. He will provide for all your needs and some of the things you might really want. But just remember that it is always in His timing, not ours.
So if you want blessed, start the ball rolling and go bless someone yourself. But don’t brag about it. Keep it to yourself and sit back and watch God move in your life. Showers of blessings are coming for you if you just believe. I believe. Do you?
