But let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.
(1 Peter 3:4 ESV)
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
(Romans 8:31 ESV)
What do I mean by that? Just what it says. Let God invade and have His way in your life.
What does invade mean? According to Justia Legal Dictionary “The act of trespassing within someone else’s designated space or territory.” Another definition I saw was “someone who enters by force in order to conquer.” By vocabulary.com. Jesus wants to invade us and fill us with His love and mercy. He will never invade someone if they weren’t willing. Jesus knows we have free will and can choose whatever we want.
Jesus has invaded my space quite often. Mostly I just listen. I don’t know about you, but Jesus comes to me in the quiet times. That’s when He can get my attention easier. Jesus comes to correct me, He comes to tell me things I have done that wasn’t very pleasing to Him. I know that I need to repent quickly and sincerely. But He also just comes to talk.
How many times have you done something and had to apologize? I used to have a neighbor who apologized for things he did. His apologies became routine, like he was just trying to smooth things over quickly. They weren’t a sincere apology. I hope you don’t do that.
The service yesterday was wonderful. Jesus invaded the church. His presence was present, front and center the whole service. People were ministered to. That’s how Jesus wants to invade His people. He wants to give them a touch from heaven. Are you ready? Jesus is coming for you. Open your heart and let Him in. Let Him invade every area of your life. It’s a wonderful feeling. Have a fabulous day, everyone. And always remember, Jesus loves you and so do I.
