The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name.

(Revelation 3:12 ESV)

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

(Romans 8:37 ESV)

What does it mean to be a survivor? According to Cambridge Dictionary, a survivor is “a person who is able to continue living their life successfully despite experiencing difficulties.”

I know we all have had difficult experiences in our lives. If you have never had an issue, call me. Let me know how you do it. God wants us living our lives on fire for Him. But He also knows that the devil is out to get us. He knows we will have our issues.

But we are overcomers, conquerors and survivors. We have the whole armor of God to help protect us. Satan sends fiery darts to discourage us and derail our walk with God. But we have weapons at our disposal. We have the blood of Jesus. The blood is a powerful weapon. I plead the blood of Jesus over me and my car every time I get in it to go somewhere.

I have a very old car with a lot of very old parts that are very expensive if I should have to replace them. God has been taking care of my car. It may not look like much but it’s paid for and it runs. By pleading the blood over it, I am declaring my faith that God will take care of it until I get a different one.

My car is like me, a survivor. I’m a survivor who loves God with my whole heart. He has protected me from things I know of but also things I don’t know about. I suggest you examine yourself. Are you a survivor, an overcomer and a conqueror?

Have a great day, everyone.
