Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

(Hebrews 4:16 ESV)

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

(Jeremiah 29:13 ESV)

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

(Mark 11:24 ESV)

“The greatest privilege God has ever given us is the freedom to approach Him anytime.”

The above was sent to me the other day. I don’t know who made the meme but it is the truth. We have the privilege of approaching God anytime we want. He encourages us to. But do we always take advantage of it? I don’t and I don’t know why I don’t. God is ready and waiting for us to call on Him. We have needs and God supplies our needs. So why don’t we let Him?

I have no idea why I don’t call on God more than I do. Is it vain? Do I think I can handle things on my own? I guess so. But can I really handle all things on my own? Absolutely not. I am a mess when I don’t allow God to handle my problems. So you think I would learn to always give things to God before trying to do it on my own. But I am only human and think I can fix it on my own.

I have decided to change my ways and start leaning on God more. I will start giving Him my problems before I make a bigger mess out of them.

How about you? Will you learn to lean on God more and trust Him to take care of your problems? I suggest we all learn to lean on Him.

Have a great day.
