“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.I
(Hebrews 11:1 ESV)
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
(2 Timothy 1:7 ESV)”
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
(Isaiah 41:10 ESV)
As a kid, I had a lot of fear. I came by it naturally. My dad and his whole family were afraid of everything. But I outgrew my fears. I may not like all the creep crawlies, but I’m not afraid of them anymore. I love to watch a storm move in. I used to hide my head under a pillow if a storm blew through at night.
We were not made to have fear. We are made to be conquerors. We are made to be victorious. What are you afraid of? A little spider? A slug? Storms? Failure? It’s time to let go of those fears and live in the peace that God wants us to live in.
God wants us to live in peace and spread happiness wherever we go. He wants us to spread the word that Jesus is coming back soon and to get yourself ready for that time. God loves us and wants the best for us, and that means not living in fear. I have a plaque on my wall that a friend gave me.
“Let your faith be bigger than your fears.”
Words to live by. Don’t let fear and anxiety rule you. Tell them they have to leave.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
